Books bringing funds

Bookarama turns pre-loved books into community support. Hosted at Rolleston Primary School, volunteers sort and sell thousands of titles so families can stock up on affordable reads. Every dollar raised helps fund Rotary projects.

Practical help for Selwyn

This initiative turns community goodwill into action. We partner with schools and local groups, boost food banks when shelves run low, and provide small, targeted assistance so children don’t miss out on learning or extra-curricular opportunities.

Hosting the community

Motukarara Fireworks brings Selwyn together for a safe, family night out. Rotary coordinates entertainment, food, parking and consents so the community can simply show up and enjoy. Proceeds go straight back into local initiatives.

Lincoln Primary School Gardens

Rotarians, students and whānau learning together in the school gardens

Lincoln Rotary volunteers support the gardens at Lincoln Primary School, helping tamariki learn where food comes from, get their hands in the soil, and take pride in caring for a living place. Together with teachers and whānau, we plant, weed, build, and harvest across the seasons—turning small plots into big lessons about teamwork, resilience, and kaitiakitanga.

Club Honoured with Award

The Lincoln Rotary Club is proud to announce that we have earned the prestigious Club Excellence Award for the 2024-25 Rotary year - the highest recognition a Rotary club can achieve.
