Are you aged 18–30 and ready to take your leadership to the next level? The Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) is a fully sponsored, high-impact leadership development programme designed to challenge, inspire, and empower young adults who want to make a difference. RYLA isn’t just about learning leadership — it’s about living it. Over 4-5 days and through hands-on workshops, outdoor challenges, inspiring speakers, and deep reflection, you’ll explore your strengths, grow your confidence, and connect with other future leaders from across the region. |

Cost to you?
💸 Zero. Successful applicants are fully sponsored by a Rotary club or corporate partner. All you need to bring is your time, energy, and a willingness to grow.
The value of the course is $1,175 (GST is excluded for Rotary Clubs or ADD GST for corporates)

Preferred closing deadline: 18th November 2026 for the CHCH Course and 30 November 2026 for Queenstown
Late applications will be considered if there are spaces available. If you are late submitting your application, please email the RYLA District Committee for your preferred course directly to check availability.
Applications can be made in one of two ways:

- by downloading an application form and other associated paperwork (found in the main links above) and emailing the completed forms for Queenstown to d9999rylaqt@gmail.com OR for Christchurch d9999rylachch@gmail.com
You will be required to have an interview with either your nominating Rotary Club or the RYLA committee.
Application forms must be received and interviews completed by the RYLA District Committee before the due date. It is recommended that you begin the registration process well before the end of November to ensure time for selection and interviews.

Successful Applicants will be notified of their acceptance within 10 working days of receipt of the candidate endorsement form from their sponsoring Rotary Club, or by December 1st, 2026 at the latest.
Applications will only be considered for those with a residential address within New Zealand.
