Vocational Training Teams (VTTs) are groups of professionals who travel abroad either to teach local specialists about a particular field, or to learn more about their own.
Building on the Foundation’s long-standing commitment to professional development, the programme, which can be funded through district and global grants, continues to greatly help host communities solve problems and improve the quality of life.
VTTs bring together professionals with a common interest or purpose, enabling them to support one or more of the 6 major areas of focus of the Rotary Foundation. Hands-on activities vary from one team to the next, but are as varied as training medical professionals on cardiac surgery and care, sharing best practices on early childhood education, or explaining new irrigation techniques to farmers.
