Why should I join a Rotary club?
At Rotary, we bring our diverse backgrounds and unite to exchange new ideas, apply expertise, and implement improvements that transform communities.
Our members work locally and partner on international projects that address today’s most pressing humanitarian challenges.
The impact our members make takes shape at Rotary club meetings and activities. These gatherings give you the chance to:
- Change lives. You’ll have the opportunity to discuss and act upon your community’s greatest needs.
- Connect with other passionate people. Rotary club meetings are a place to strengthen connections to friends and neighbours and form meaningful relationships that last a lifetime.
-
Invest in yourself. Through our district and club network, we offer workshops, conferences, guest speakers, and more – all aimed at helping you grow personally and professionally.
I want to join
Tell us a little about yourself, and we’ll let clubs in your community know you're interested in learning more about membership. Include as much information as you can about yourself and your preferences to help us find the right club for you.
The Membership Process
Each club has a unique personality and focus. We can help you find a club that fits your interests, location, and availability.
Matched with a club
We'll review your club meeting preferences and other information and forward it to Rotary contacts in your area so they can also learn about your interests and match you with a club.
Contacted by club
A member of a local Rotary club will contact you, by email or phone, to discuss your interest in joining. You may be invited to a club meeting, social event, or even to volunteer on a service project.
Invited to join
If you and your prospective club are a good fit, you’ll be invited to join. After you accept, your club might hold an induction ceremony to welcome you and commemorate this important event. Every club has its own traditions and ways of welcoming new members.
I'm a member!
Make the most of your membership. Join a committee. Lead a service project. Organise a social event. Be the change you want to see in the world.
